The theme of the Song of the Messiah is this: Spiritual values triumph in this world only through defeat.
A corollary to the proposition, proved over and over in history is: Whenever spiritual values appear to triumph through worldly victory, only an empty form remains.
The Oglalas are preparing for our spring pow-wows. Much evidence of intense interest up there. Can hardly wait until spring - want to go now. It will be a wonderful experience, for I can feel that everything is shaping up just as I would have it.
