My god! You should have seen what they did to me last Sunday evening! It was a glittering wow! The enclosed pretty well suggest the story, but print can't convey the feel of good will, happiness, and affection that filled the place.
Your letter (yours & Bower's) was read to the company along with the others. There was an article in the Chicago Tribune & it brought letters from friends I've not heard from in years.
One does not "deserve" the best things that happen in this life. They just come & are to be accepted happily & humbly.
