Yes, that truly is a personal triumph — the sort that really makes one happy. It's a pretty safe bet that the youngster will remember you all his life and call you blessed. Not just because he was enabled to graduate; but because a revered person of consequence actually believed in him.
I'm glad we
will not miss each other. I must give that talk to the picked high school youngsters of the state on the 20th. Then, I hope to get going west in a few days. But I'll plan so as not to miss you — Don't trouble about that. I'll not go until I've had a visit with you.
