I'm wondering how we can plan to meet during the short while you will have in Columbia I believe there is one train a day each way between here and Centralia

Bob Leaf, an old student now in New York, writes me that he is again working on the movies, pushing Three Friends. He seems hopeful, but I'm not. Still he's a clever chap.

We were fortunate on the drive home. The high Rockies, of course, were cool, and all the way across Kansas the temperature did not rise above the middle seventies.

It's good to know you and Bower are through with the big job.
