Dear Bower:

I'm so eager to hear how Lucile is. I do hope she may soon be at home with you and Stewart, and well enough to say hello to me. You must have been terribly worried.

I rec'd a copy of the letter Frank Mott wrote about the essay on my stuff. I'm afraid he does not feel very well.

I wish you and Lucile could have been at the unveiling ceremony at the State Capitol in Lincoln, Neb. It was a perfect event.

I think a great deal about you three, and I'll be so glad when I know everything is all right again.
