Dear Lucile:

I'm glad you are ro with your Father. Give him the kindest thoughts from me. I'd like to know him.

Yours of the 28th arrived yesterday.

I'll leave here on July 9th with Hutchins, director of my MU TV series next fall (The Twilight of the Sioux) We'll be in Lincoln the 10th and 11th. On the 12th I'll take a plane for Imperial where Stanley will meet me. We will leave Wauneta for the Oregon Trail expedition on July 14th. About the 19th (maybe the 20th) I'll take either train or plane for Portland. (I have thought this might be at Green River Wyo., or near there)

I'll let you know when to expect me and where.

You can mail a letter to me here, if you wish, on the 4th of July, after that (on the 8th or 9th) to the Hist. Society, Lincoln c/o Phyllis). After that no mail to Wauneta, c/o Stanley Smith. I'll have letters forwarded from Wauneta to at least one place on the Oregon Trail.

I've received the script for The Pioneer Heritage series to be filmed in Lincoln late in August. It's for the National Educational TV. I'll no doubt work on that while in Lincoln.

I'm so glad you find my footnotes beneficial. I insist upon universal lucidity. (These These are hard words, but I have no time to explain.)

Alice & Cook have taken over the Christian College Horsemanship department, & will operate operate on the College farm two miles out of on Hy 63 South. I do hope Alice will be happy. It's a big opportunity. This place will be used for brood mares and colts

Love
