Dear Lucile:

I'm wondering if you are in Hawaii. I received a note from Bower there. I wish I could be in N. Y. on Dec. 30th.

I wish you would tell me if you examined the Minneapolis Journal from Sep 1912 to about April 1913. During that time I ran a full page. After that I ran a weekly column only until I quit the job in 1921 or 1922.

I do hope you are not unhappy and that you still think of me as your friend —
