It was bully to hear you on the phone!

I'm in a hurry to get this note off to you, as you may need all the time possible for your plans.

Anyway, here is the list of engagements up to, and including, Wayne!

Omaha comes, after a bunch of others, on Oct 24.

This list is, of course, not complete. I'm taking you up to Wayne, because it's another homecoming affair, I gather.

I don't know what they'll do at Bancroft, but you can see what they're doing there, and they would rejoice to see you.

It would be great to see Bower too!! I can see him as head of the Department anywhere. It would be saddening saddening to lose you, Bower, and Stewart to Hawaii. But you'd be back now & then and maybe I could come and see you. (I'm just imagining that you m Bower might want to go there — but maybe he doent does not.
