Across the Spectrum:The Interdisciplinary Life and Letters of John G. Neihardt (‘Flaming Rainbow’)

I'm thinking of visiting in Lincoln a few days, [toiling?] over a rather rich collection of Neihardt material, and then taking the train for Portland. My friends in Lincoln may drive me to Denver; but, in any case I understand the "steam cars" reach Portland at 9 A. M.!! Is that too damned early? (Shame on you for using such an expression!) Please answer soon, and I'll go ahead with plans & let you know.
