We are leaving for Salt Lake and the big Gem and Mineral Show, and will be back on the 26th. There is still one mail , and I'm hoping to hear from you — that you arrived safely and had a happy trip.

I'm afraid we did not get much done. You were here so short a time and were in such a hurry. I have not seen all the chapters, and the corrections cannot have been fully

considered. But no doubt you plan to have a complete corrected copy for me before you are ready to submit the book for publication.

This is to be the definitive and authorized version. It can be a fine book.
