Dear Lucile:

I am very happy, having just read a letter from Hilda filled with rejoicing over your Biography! Now perhaps you can remember to love your old friend a little — like old times.

How I do long to see the Book! Have you done the Laurel Decade chapter? Did you receive notice of the Wisdom Award of Honor? If so, did you note the list of previous recipients?

I'm having a happy time with the Autobiography. Really, I've never written such a free joyous feeling. And there is so much holding material that the choice is difficult

I'll write again to old Stewart. Bless him and his wife!

The Autobiography will supplement your Book, and will be held up until your Book is established.

Love to you and Bower —

John Neihardt
