Dr. Frank P. Piskor, President St. Lawrence University Canton, New York 13617
Dear Frank:

That was a precious letter——yours of September 30th—— and it makes me happy. Of course I am glad to know that you propose to make a collection of my works for the Young library at St. Lawrence University, and of course I want to donate a copy of The Divine Enchantment because you ask it.

Let me know when you want it and tell me to whom I shall write the inscription on the flyleaf.

My books are becoming scarcer very rapidly. Recently we ordered five from Clarks' catalog, and they were gone before an airmail letter could reach Glendale. Recently we paid $25.00 for a copy of The Splendid Wayfaring, and since then I have seen another copy offered at the same price. Do you have a number of book-sellers looking for copies of my work? It is the best way, of course, to find copies. I am in the market for any of my books if they are not too greatly overpriced.

I like the feel of your letter. It seems to indicate that you are happy in your new surroundings.

Incidentally, may I say "Bless your heart!"

All kind thoughts,

P.S.

I am unable to set even a tentative date for the completion of the autobiography, but it should be late in the spring if I continue to work as I am doing now. I am really having a very good time with the task.
