Yesterday Florence read the final chapter to me and recorded on a separate sheet the few corrections and suggestions I made. She will type the sheet and send it to you.

It's a lovely job, and I'm happy about it. We intended to drive to Skyrim tomorrow, but it's snowing busily, and we may have to postpone our trip a day or two. But when we go, we'll take the chapter for my girls to read.

I do hope you can know more about a publisher reasonably soon. I need very much to know what you do with the biography before I can go ahead with a new contract with the U. of Neb. Press.

I wish you could

get Random or some other big publisher. I fear, however, that this may not be possible, considering the "Mod" mood that is abroad. Still, who knows? There is a tremendous backlog of material to follow your book, if someone has the vision and daring necessary.
