Dear Bower:

Many thanks for your good letter to Dick Cavett! He is much excited over the interview. Says it's the "most interesting personality he ever had on his show. In an interview with Arthur Godfrey he same the same thing. He phoned us yesterday to say that he was in a quandary about cutting any of it. Says he has 2 1/2 hrs. of almost perfect tape; Tha that he will run it in a 90-minute special and donate the whole tape to NETV for loan over the country.

The show will go on sometime in March, it seems now. Do you know it will be in color?

(Inside)
Cavett and the whole station staff and many friends have seen the tape and can't agree on cutting any of it!

I don't understand this, really. I know it was smooth, and the rest I forget.

Love to each of you
