Letter from John G. Neihardt to Edna Skilling, November 1, 1961

Dear Edna:

I just want to say hello to you and assure you that I often think of you. Say hello to old John and to Hugh for me. I suppose I may be out there again next summer, altho' I'm not sure. If I come, of course I'll see you people again.

With affection, John Neihardt

P. S.

Did you hear that the Nebraska Legislature voted unanimously to place a bronze bust of me in the Capitol Building at Lincoln? There will be a bronze bust here at the University too. These things generally happen when one is good and dead!

John.
