MHEA members attending the Dinner are honored to hear Dr. John Neihardt. He is recognized as the outstanding epic poet of the American West. He has been on the faculty at M.U. since 1948. He is a widely known author, epic and lyric poet and lecturer. He has published more than 20 volumes, including novels, short stories and other writings. He has revieved many awards and honors.
