Letter from John G. Neihardt to Lucile Aly, October 20, 1964
One of these times I will send you some clippings and letters about the fine experience I had the day I visited Bancroft. These will do much to bring back the old days there when I was doing much of my best work.
The Garden Club of Bancroft is acquiring the little building I used as a study and will restore it. They've consulted me as to what needs to be done.
In a corner of the room in this little house I found a kitchen table that must be the one I used as a desk!!
I do hope you are well and not working too hard.
Here are the old affectionate thoughts for you, dear Lady, and for Stewart. (I did want to have a good talk with him). And Bower? I'll hear about him through Dr. Kendrick if not direct.
I do wish you could have been in Bancroft with me!!
