Letter from John G. Neihardt to Lucile Aly, January 10, 1966
At the Library
Jan 10, 66 Dear Lucile:
Jan 10, 66 Dear Lucile:
On the night of Dec. 30 I dreamed I was at luncheon in New York, and in my dream someone told me there were 140 present at the luncheon. I've wondered if the dream might have been correct — ?
I do miss you and I wonder what can have happened.
I'm looking forward to that "good news" which is due "very shortly". Give it a nudge and make it hurry!!
Wayne has issued a beautiful brochure in heavy silver paper with the title "Of these we are proud". It gives sketches of distinguished alumni — and the first two pages are — whose do you suppose?
If Bower is there this carries affectionate thoughts for both of you.
I'd be glad to know about the luncheon.
