Dear Slade:
It's a perfectly bully job! As for authorship, it's yours, my change in the footnote on page 4 takes care of that. You had to get your material from the source, and you did.
I've suggested capitals. Sacred conceptions — like Hoop of the Universe,
Joslyn Memorial may be marble. I'm not sure. It seems so.
Hoop of the World, the various Powers, the Hoop of the People etc — these should, I believe, be capitalized. Also The Great Mysterious One; and any other expressions I used "audiences" instead of
[?]
ageration.
I'm sorry that my suggested corrections are so sloppy. Actually, I don't see too well, and much depends on the light at the moment.
This is a very good article, and I hope the editor likes it.
Mrs. Mildred Bennett, authority on Willa Cather and my good friend, is working on my newspaper essays. There are 1000 columns, and from this mass a book will be prepared. There may be as many as three books. Mrs. Bennett is a whale. She does things with a surging enthusiasm and gets work done.
Love to you
