Letter from John G. Neihardt to Cyril Clemens, November 15, 1972

Mr. Cyril Clemens Editor, Mark Twain Journal Kirkwood, Missouri 63122 Dear Cyril:

I thank you most heartily for the good things you say about my little book of memories. I especially appreciated what you said about Mark Twain sitting up to read it. Wouldn't that be something?

I am enclosing the Tom Sawyer First Day cover somewhat defaced by my signature and the address. I hope I haven't ruined it.

Kindest thoughts, as usual John Neihardt
