May 24, 1973 Mr. Terrence O'Neill 521 N. Central St. Louis, Missouri 63130 Dear Terry O'Neill:
I want you to know that I deeply appreciate your beautiful letter of May 5, 1973. I am glad to know that I do not seem "far away or long ago" to you. I am neither, as you know, and at the present moment I feel very close to you, indeed.
Your comment on the poem "Ghostly Brother" tells me a great deal about you, and it is good to know.
I hope we may meet some time.
Do you know that United Artists is bringing out some albums of my work? The first is now being prepared and I think will be out in July. We worked on the records for a period of eight weeks and they are now working on the albums in Hollywood.
Thanks and best wishes, your friend John G. NeihardtJGN:nh
